Each page of the Busy Bible contains a well-known Bible story, with felt pieces for the child to enjoy.  While the child is buttoning, zipping, snapping and playing with the pieces, you can read the story from the enclosed story sheet, or you can look up the story in your family Bible.  To get an idea how each story works, click on the name of each story.

Creation Globe – Genesis 1

In the beginning God made the heavens and the earth. He made EVERYTHING in only six days! Look under the flaps and see what God made on each day. God saw that everything He made was very good and on the seventh day He rested.

 

Noah’s Ark - Genesis 6 and 7

The people God made did bad things that made Him sad. Only Noah pleased God. God told Noah to build a BIG boat and to take his family and two of every animal inside. Then God made it rain until water covered the whole earth! Only Noah and those in the ark were saved because they believed and obeyed God.

Baby Moses in the Bulrushes – Exodus 2:1-10

Joseph’s family moved to Egypt and had MANY children and grandchildren. The new king was afraid they would become too powerful. So he made them slaves. Then he ordered all their baby boys to be killed! But Moses’ mother hid him in a basket in the reeds by the riverbank. The king’s daughter found him and took him to live with her. When Moses grew up God used him to lead his people out of slavery in Egypt!

  

The Birth of Jesus – Luke 2:1-7

Joseph and Mary, his wife, went to Bethlehem to be counted. While they were there she had a baby. She laid him in a manger in a stable because there was no room for them in the inn. But this was a very SPECIAL baby! He was the Son of God, Jesus Christ the Lord, who was born to be our Savior!

 

Peter Fishing – Matthew 4:18-20

Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee when he saw Peter fishing with Andrew, his brother. He called to them, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of MEN!” Immediately, they left their nets and followed Jesus. Jesus wants us to follow Him too!
