A Prophet’s Scroll – Isaiah 9:6
Many years ago, God spoke to people by His prophets who wrote God’s words in a scroll like this. The prophet Isaiah told about the birth of Jesus the Messiah 700 years before He was born! Read the verse to see what Isaiah said.
The Birth of Jesus – Luke 2:1-11
Seven hundred years later, Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem to be our Savior, just as Isaiah had said! Put this puzzle together to see who first came to see Him.
The Wise Men – Matthew 2:1-11
Wise men from the East also came to worship Him. Look inside their pouches to see the gifts they brought for Him – gold, frankincense, and myrrh. If we are wise, we too will worship Him!
Carpenter Boy Jesus – Mark 6:1-3
Jesus’ earthly father, Joseph, was a carpenter (Matthew 13:55) who made things from wood. When Jesus was a boy, He learned to be a carpenter by helping His father. Use the boards in the box to help Him make a table and chair.
Baptism of Jesus – Matthew 3:13-17
When Jesus grew up, He was baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan River. As He came up from the water, the heavens opened and the Spirit of God came down and rested on Him like a dove! Then God said, “This is my Son, whom I love.” Jesus wants everyone who trusts in Him as their Savior to be baptized too.
Jesus Heals a Sick Man – John 5:5-9
One day, as He was going to Jerusalem, He saw a man beside a pool of water who had not been able to stand or walk for 38 years! Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” Immediately, the man was healed, and he picked up his mat and walked! Lift up his arms and show him praising the Lord.
The Widow’s Two Mites – Luke 21:1-4
Another time, Jesus saw the rich people putting their money into the Temple offering box. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small coins. Jesus said, “This poor widow gave more than all the others, because the rich people put in their extra money, but she put in all that she had!” Find the coins in her purse, and put them in the offering box.
Jesus the Good Shepherd – John 10:11, 27-28
Jesus said that He is the Good Shepherd who cares about His sheep and gives His life for them. All of us who follow Jesus are His “sheep” and will live with Him in heaven one day forever! Can you put the sheep in Jesus’ arms?
Jesus Died for Our Sins – John 3:16
God loved us so much that He gave His one and only Son, Jesus, to be punished for all the bad things we have done. If we believe in Him, He will forgive us and make us clean, so that we can live with Him in heaven one day. Look inside the pocket and learn the story of the “Wordless Book”!
Jesus Rose Again – Matthew 28:1-6
On the third day after Jesus died and was buried, some of His followers came to the tomb. They found the heavy stone that covered the entrance rolled away! A shining angel told them that Jesus was no longer there. He was alive! Roll the stone away to see Him come out of the tomb.

Someday, Jesus will come down again from heaven with a shout and with the trumpet call of God to take all who believe in Him to be with Him forever!
